THE Experience

Your Arrival

As an additional safety measure, we now have a Contactless Check-in system available. On Arrival head over to the check-in system and find your name and enter your mobile number to check-in. Then your Wax Specialist will come out to greet you and lead you into one of our private, sanitised waxing suites. all clients are required to successfully complete a consultation form.

Disrobing

Your Wax Specialist will ask you to remove your garments from the waist down before hopping on the bed. This allows your specialist to work uninterrupted and also prevents wax from getting on your undergarments or clothing. A disposable towel will be provided to cover the intimate area prior to starting the service.

During

Cleansing.

First, we'll cleanse the area to remove any makeup, oils or lotions that would prevent the wax from properly adhering to the hair.

LETS GET WAXING

Then we apply our signature Black Peel-able Wax, for sensitive areas like the face or intimate and our Black Strip wax for the body and larger areas.

Rejuvenation

Finally, we rejuvenate the area by applying either a natural aloe vera for soothing and cooling or our Avacado oil which is a great antioxidant, and anti-inflammatory.

The quality of our post-treatment care products will ensure that you get an excellent treatment without any skin inflammation and infections.

The question everyone asks:

Will my first wax be painful?

Depending on which area of waxing is being carried out there will be some level of discomfort, especially if it is your first intimate wax, however it is tolerable. But not to fear our master wax specialists have carried out waxing hundreds of times and will ensure you are well looked after feeling comfortable throughout your first wax.

How long should the hair be for my next wax?

For best waxing results, your hair should be at least 4 mm. Usually your wax will last from three to four weeks, though everyone's rate of re-growth is different.

Can I wax if its that time of the month?

Sure we can absolutely perform a intimate wax if it’s that time of the month. But just be aware that area can be more sensitive and you may experience more discomfort than usual

What if im pregnant

It is best to consult your gynaecologist before your treatment, but it is generally safe to have a Brazilian wax after your first trimester.

What if I have piercings and tattoos? Will it hinder my experience ?

For piercings, we recommend removing your piercing. If you can't remove it, your wax specialist will have to go around it which could result in leaving a couple of hairs that are too close to touch.

Is there anything else i should do or not do?

Please Do:

Tell your Wax Specialist about any medications you're taking, like antibiotics, accutane, or topical creams like Retina, which might not be compatible with waxing.

Wear comfy cotton clothes after your waxing service. Cotton will allow the skin to breathe and pull away any heat and sweat from the area.

Dont Do:

Don't Tan the area you plan to wax 24 to 48 hours before reservation

Dont consume alcohol or significant amounts of caffeine before your wax. Both can cause pores to tighten, which could make for a more uncomfortable experience.

Don't have a hot bath for about 24 hours. A shower is ok

Don't exercise/working out for 24 hours because it causes the body temperature to rise. Which in turn can cause sweat to creep it's way into those freshly waxed follicles and may result in tiny surface pimples.

Don't have any Sexual activity for 24 hours after intimate waxing. Friction on the skin can cause it to become inflamed and irritated.

Don't use perfumed moisturisers on waxed areas.
